How Can ElectriScan™ Help?

Infrared thermography can be used to perform predictive maintenance inspections on electrical equipment. Our infrared surveys are able to see problems before component failure occurs, preventing costly damage to the component, safety hazards, and production downtime. Our primary electrical services include Switchgear Testing, Data Center Testing, and Solar Panel Testing.

How Does it Work?

Before an electrical component burns up, it heats up.

Infrared thermography is used to regularly perform predictive and preventative maintenance inspections on electrical equipment. These inspections reveal any excess temperature on an electrical apparatus, indicating electrical faults due to loose connections, overloaded or imbalanced circuits, faulty breakers, damaged switches, faulty fuses and a wide range of other unwanted electrical conditions.

Thermography is used to see excess heat (resistance or load) so that problems can be found and maintenance personnel can act accordingly. Early action is essential ink order to correct the problem before the component fails, which can cause damage to the component, safety hazards, and/or costly production downtime.
